Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut, Storrs is featured on The Museum Insider™. This one-hour, on-location program covers The Legacy of B in BIMP exhibit highlighting Frank Ballard’s puppetry career, and the Puppet Arts Program founded by Ballard in 1962. It includes interviews with Frank Ballard, museum curator and professor emeritus, and Bart Roccoberton, Jr., current director of the Puppet Arts Program, and appearances by puppetry students and professional puppeteers.

at the Quadrangle

On-location program highlights the library and four museums at the Quadrangle (George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Connecticut Valley Historical Museum, and Springfield Science Museum). The emphasis is on the science museum and how the library/museum complex serves as a community and educational center.
